Each year from mid-November through December 24, The Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign brings the community together to support individuals and families in need during the holiday season. Donations collected through the kettles help fund local programs and services that provide food, assistance, and support throughout the year.
Volunteers play a vital role in the success of this campaign. Community members are invited to stand beside a Christmas kettle at various locations throughout the city, greeting shoppers and helping raise awareness for the cause.
Volunteer shifts are two hours long, running between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, making it easy for individuals, families, and groups to participate and give back to the community.
