Christmas Hampers

The Salvation Army Community & Family Services provides Christmas Food and Toy Hampers for families and individuals in need in the Greater Hamilton area.

Information Required:

  • Personal identification for all people living full time in the home
    (1 Photo ID or 2 other ID’s)
  • Proof of current address
    (You must live in Greater Hamilton area)
  • Proof of rent
    (Rent receipt / lease agreement / mortgage statement / bank statement)
  • Proof of Income of every adult
    (Government Assistance Stub / Pay Stub / other incomes)
  • Child Benefit Income
    (CTB)

How to Register:


Christmas Hamper Appointments are booked between October 1 and November 30 at your regularly scheduled food bank visit.

To make an appointment to come to the Hamilton food bank please call 905-540-1888 ext. 101

To make an appointment to come to the Dundas food bank please call 905-627-0572 ext. 302

Hamper pick up will be by scheduled appointment only and will be throughout December

Please note: Clients can only register at one agency for Christmas assistance.
